Yep, that's kind of the point I'm making in the commentary - I look at all this stuff as a tool that has the potential to make my life a little bit better and my work more efficient. Every tool has its positive and negative attributes along with optimum uses. I've always used both cellular and Wi-Fi but for different reasons and in different situations. All I'm trying to do with this podcast, and probably the next, is clear up a bit of misinformation that, because it seems to get repeated over and over, and often in the form of misguided advice, might keep drivers from taking advantage of all the tools they have available to them. Once an individual knows the facts it makes it a whole lot easier to come to valid conclusions about the types of technology they can use and the circumstances in which their use can be most efficient and effective.

I have both cellular and wifi, not because one is better than the other, sometimes one works better than the other depending on the situation and that situation is always changing.

If I'm at a dock, I'm not going to have wifi. If I'm at a truckstop in a small town, cellular will be the slow kind. In a major city, nowadays, it might be a toss up with Verizon's new network they're putting in.
