Drill Here, Drill Now, Pay Less Update

Everyone has GOT to sign this. It only takes a second. This is the only real solution for the trucking industry. Strikes and anything else are either worthless or only short term. I agree, in fact, I’d go so far as to say that if a trucker CAN sign this but doesn’t? Well then he (or she) is useless. Merely a whiner who should be ignored in the future. Shouldn’t be driving a truck. Maybe floral arrangement?
This is a chance to DO something. It’s painless and it might count for something.

The ONLY way to decease fuel prices is either to Increase Supply or Decrease demand.(or both) “Drill Here, Drill Now” would increase supply. Maybe a LOT.
lower prices on gas.
C’mon people……
The rediculous fuel prices are a result of commodities trading and speculators.
Drilling here will have zero effect on the price.
Coffee, orange juice and wheat are also traded on commodity exchanges. Wild price swings happen when a frost happens in Brazil or Florida.
If there was more of a stable supply there wouldn’t be anything for them to speculate about except for the occasional hurricane.
Back when we were just talking about drilling the price dropped. Now the price has dropped because of lack of demand. OPEC is talking about adjusting their production, which will keep the price high.
If we were contributing to the world supply as much as we could, you think OPEC’s production would matter. OPEC doesn’t have such a strangle hold on the market like the 70s because other countries are drilling and not just the Mideast.
Drilling here would have an affect on the world oil supply, which would effect the market.
