This is how I feel. I'm walking along the river after a delicious dinner. I see the stock market, the banks, the car dealerships, the auto manufacturers, the mortgage brokers and their lawyers all drowning. I stop for a sec and look. I hear them crying out for help. And, you know what? I just keep on walking. I saw nothing. I heard nothing. I felt nothing. I don't "invest" in the stock market. My 401K will recover. My job is safe. I've seen the worst of times and the best of times. I've been out of work. I've been homeless. I've been broke. And I survived. I'm not worried, at all. This too shall pass. But, rest assured, that if I see anyone else that has "screwed" us like the aforementioned list, in trouble, I will keep on walking.
