New owner operator driver medical compliance program in development. Motor carrier group pooling will allow for affordable per month per member fees. Pre-screen for medical problems, screen for a complete turn-key certified sleep apnea management program. New FMCSA rules require CDL drivers medical certificate to be recorded on the CDLIS and very soon DOT medical examiners will have to undergo a training and certification process. In the future it will be more difficult for drivers with "broderline" health conditions to obtain medical certification. HealthPass is the answer for owner operator/independent contractor fleets. Protect your most important asset; your ability to DRIVE

I think we should demand the FCC restrict her CDL (Commercial Diva License) until she looses that weight. After all, the nanny government is here to help ALL the people, not just truck drivers! But, they probably wont start that until we get universal government health care, now will they? Of course, the calisthenics program we'll all be engaged in for the new Obama Civilian Defense Force should take the weight off most of us!

Hey, we're gonna get to hit the showers with Oprah! How 'bout that!

So, V. Grumpy, is your situation a bit of a catch 22? Insurance doesn't cover the DOT physical and you need it to drive? America's healthcare system could really use some help.
