Stories about the upcoming tax increase protests are conspicious by their abscense. The national news media, sometimes called the progaganda arm of the Democratic Party, is NOT giving this national protest much if any coverage.

The main stream media was surely quick to give full coverage to any and all “war protests”. The media didn’t like Bush’s war you see. The media used their power to distort and direct public perception.
Here’s a case of them doing it again. Distorting and Directing public perception. PreInternet news got around fairly slow. The mainstream media, by not covering a story, could kill it.
Not so nowadays. Freedom Works and American Solutions , and many, many, other internet sites are by passing the dinosaur media and going direct to individuals. Is it any wonder that NewPapers are dying off? That the MSM’s revenues are declining?
Couldn’t happen to more deserving people.
Any way. Taxes impact trucking. If you’re tired of paying so much, if you really don’t care for the idea of paying MORE, and if youre a tad bit aggravated by having your taxes increased by Tax Cheats, well then check out the Tea Parties.

I’m well-aware of the Tea Parties, at least, Everett. But, of course, I usually get my news from a lot of alternative sources. The MSM doesnt want to talk about this because they really dont want anybody aware they’re happening-how can you ‘overlook’ nearly 8000 average middle-aged middle-class people demonstrating in Los Angeles, or 4000 in Cincinnati or 3000 in Florida-all with nothing but word-of-mouth information? Lansing, MI got over 300 on an impromptu 3 day email campaign-and the one on the 15th looks to be VERY big (there are at least 30 others going on the same day in Michigan). They’re getting some attention tho, because ACORN is actively attempting to infiltrate them and get people to sign petitions they dont want them to read to support Obama’s budget-the very thing most of them are protesting.
People dont understand what this huge deficit is going to do to our lifestyles-the money is so big people’s eyes just glaze over. It will cause huge inflation at the same time our taxes go up and our energy bills jump 30%. Congress had better take heed of this: middle-aged, middle-class people dont take the day off work and protest-it’s just unheard of. But they are. They dont start fires and break things-they just carry huge signs and make a lot of noise. Joe the Plumber is actually speaking at the Michigan event. I suspect there are going to be problems because the O’bots are planning on causing trouble-how DARE taxpayers complain they’re being raped?All they’re really concerned about is that they get marijuana legalized-and “FREE” health care-lol!
If people knew half of the stuff they’re sliding through Congress right now without being reported by the MSM, they’d lose their lunch! Did you see any pics of Obama BOWING to the King of Saudi Arabia? I bet not-they lost that piece of video real quick! Our entire country is being sold out from under us-and most people dont have a clue.

Totally off subject, but wasn’t Obama supposed to fix our reputation overseas? Being subservient is not my idea of fixing anything.
Isn’t Fox News a media leader? Rush and Shawn are on the top of terrestrial national syndicated radio – how much more “main stream” can you get than that? Nobody cares what ABC, CBS and NBC have to say anymore. There is NO more main stream media. I personally get the news off my Blackberry from a wide variety of sources from the Christian Science Monitor to the China Daily to Bloomberg to OOIDA. I stopped buying newpapers years ago. And, I don’t give a nanosecond of thought as to what “Acorn” does. “Truckingal” needs to turn off the radio, relax and know that “it’s” going to be alright. Lay off the kool-aid and don’t stop taking your meds. Jeff Gordon won this weekend. Life is sweet. LOL.
Yeah, I love it when a trucker starts going off about how everyone needs to wake up, like they’re the only ones that know anything and I’m not reading what’s real, unless I’m reading what they’re reading. Until I find out it’s George Nory.
