All truckers loves dogs. Well, most of them anyway. Everitt is going to comment that not only doesn’t he watch TV, but he hates dogs and probably has a python in his truck. OMG. Just kidding Everitt.
Listen, I have two two dogs – rescues – at home – not in the truck. The carrier I work for, in order to maintain my top 10% status, does not allow me to have a pet or a passenger. I spend a lot of time looking at dogs left at truck stops. hoping that someone will rescue them. If I could help, I would.
Anyhow, the top story today is Bo, the first pooch. He is a 6 month old black and white Portuguese water dog. He is a gift from uber-liberal Senator Edward Kennedy of Massachusetts. Bo is named after Mrs. Obama’s father, who had the nickname Diddley, as in Bo Diddley, the musician. Bo needs to be taught to swim, will be allowed to roam the Oval Office, but will not be allowed in the First Bed. He does not not shed and is considered “hypoallergenic.” He is darn cute. As the press is saying: “He has STAR quality!”
If you are a trucker and have a dog, please take care of it. The photo credit is: http://www.whitehouse.gov/blog/09/04/12/Meet-Bo-the-First-Dog/

No…I’m not going to say that.
Actually I used to raise dogs, and other livestock. I had a small acreage in the panhandle of Texas. At any one time I might have had as many as twenty dogs, puppies mostly. Also sheep, goats, muskovie ducks, guineas, chickens, geese, calves, and hordes of barn cats.
No pythons, although many a bull snake, garter snake, hog nose snake and the occasional rattle snake were seen, being indigenous to the territory.
Since the dogs were Great Danes you’ll forgive me if I don’t currently have any on the truck.
