Law enforcement officials announced today (May 19th) that they would be stepping up patrols along I-75 in Michigan, Ohio, and Kentucky.
They are mainly targeting commercial vehicles. They want to be sure they are running legal, within FMSCA rules. There is a short article in the Cincinnati Enquirer about the announcement that was made.
It tries to switch gears a little by also saying that they are looking for motorists that are speeding or basically cutting people off.
These extra patrols are supposed to start on Wednesday, May 20th.

Thanks Donna. Will pass this along. We actually have 2 drivers going there today & tomorrow – though parts of I-75 are not exactly a walk in the park thanks to the drive-style – maybe this will be a good thing for the people already obeying the rules.
