If you don’t like what Israel is doing in the Middle East – are you an anti-Semite? If you don’t want truckers from Mexico to operate in the U.S. – are you a racist? We have to stop shipping jobs overseas to China. Is that a political or racist statement? What about not permitting Gays to marry or openly serve in the military? Is that racist or political?
Why, when I call customer service, do I have to speak to someone in India? Is that racist? Did you hear that joke about the Polish guy? I’ll never buy a Japanese automobile. When Christians say the Koran is not the “true” book – are they racists? Our founding fathers were proponents of “All men are created equal”, but went home to plantations farmed by African slaves. Was that political or racist?
What is racism? Very plainly and simply put – it is the belief that a particular race is superior or inferior to another. What is political? It is defined as “relating” to the structure or affairs of government or the state. I think the key word in the definition is affairs of the government, whether it be ours or someone else’s.
Can we agree that there is no place in our world for racism, prejudice or discrimination of any fashion. If you don’t concur with that statement then nothing I say here will matter to you. That would certainly be the case with a Scott Roeder, the alleged killer of Dr. George Killer in Kansas or James Von Brunn, the white supremacist, who murdered an innocent guard at the Holocaust Museum in Washington, D.C.
I was always told that one of the worst things a person can do is scream “Fire” in a crowded theatre. But I also strongly feel that to claim “racism” when a person argues against something that is potentially damaging to our country – and just by circumstance it involves folks from some other country – is wrong. Take those people out of the mix and substitute aliens from Mars and it honestly wouldn’t make a difference. The policy (yes, arguably) is still wrong. It is NOT racism, but you will still have someone pouring gasoline on the fire calling it racism. It’s a cheap shot and so easy. Do you understand my point?
If you say you hate Martians, that is racism. But objecting to the affairs of your government as it pertains to dealing with Mars is politics. I believe the distinction here is clear. When some person or group claims racism rather than cower in a hole, examine what their motives are and whether it is truly racism or political. I think we would be a lot better off in this country if people were less afraid to speak their mind. You can still respect people while arguing they’re wrong. Debate is what a free democracy is all about. And this is one trucker who will fight to death to preserve that.

If you happen to be a white male, you are, by definition, a racist.
Fortunately or unfortunately, calling someone racist has become a silencing technique. Recognize it for what it is. In the recent election cycle, anyone who questioned too closely the policies of Obama’s political platform was immediately dubbed racist by the MSM. Consequently, most people stopped questioning-because they were afraid of being called racist. Half the people who voted for him only did so because by giving their vote to a so-called black man assuaged their innate belief they must be racists-see Everitt-above. Even now, after the election, anybody who disagrees with the policies being forced down our throats by the Messiah in Chief is immediately called racist.
So, now, we have the current administration that forces the Justice Dept to drop charges against Black Panthers for intimidating voters on Election Day. Is that racist? Or one that nominates a candidate for Supreme Court simply because she’s a minority female who’s more than willing to ignore the Constitution simply because she doesnt feel the subject in question has been given a fair enough shot in life. Is that racist? Or some newly-named ‘Czar” in the White House who fires an Inspector General for uncovering politically-sensitive fraud and mismanagement of millions of federal grant monies because he’s a political supporter-racist or political? How about high-performing family car dealerships that are closed and their franchise given to a more politically-connected dealer? The lines become really blurred here. The line become racist and (corrupt) politics has become very movable. The whole thing is flying under the color of ‘social justice’-and social justice is definitely racist.
You can call me racist all you want: it no longer has any effect on me. The name-callers are the true racists. Once you get past the name calling as a smokescreen, all that’s left is right and wrong. And two wrongs dont make a right.
